At the equinox, there are 12 hours of daylight, and 12 hours of night everywhere on Earth. This is the time of balance, equality, and equilibrium. |
 |
Yet, it is only one moment in a cycle of permanent change. |
| In the northern hemisphere, after this point of balance, the darkness expands to overwhelm the light. South of the equator, the light gains supremacy over darkness. |
| We can reflect on the illusory nature of duality. Seen as a cycle of permanent change, light and darkness are engaged in a complimentary dance, their opposite natures being two aspects of the oneness. |
The expansion and contraction, the in-breath and the out-breath, growth and decay, these are all aspects of the one ever changing permanence. |
Allow yourself to accept the way it is.
From this position of self acceptance, make your prayer of gratitude and appreciation. |
Everything must change - Nothing Persists.
